We have just spent a week at New Barn Cottages and stayed in Pheasants Hide. Well what can I say , all was as promised and better than we expected . The cottage was spacious enough for 2 people , the bed very comfortable , all mod cons catered for even down to tablets for dishwasher [an absolute must when on holiday], soap in the bathroom , loo roll , soft fluffy towels , it was like a 4 star hotel , nothing like the usual fishing accomodation we have stayed in before. Coffee and tea with fresh milk for that well needed cuppa after a long journey.The scenery was breathtaking and so peaceful . Even if not fishing an excellent place to stay for discovering Devon.I will be recommending this this lovely holiday place to my friends.Marilyn D
